Creativity & Communication

A thematic MOVI format exploring movement as a process of creativity, relationship and shared learning.

Creativity & Communication is a MOVI themed format in which movement becomes a way to create, communicate and act together with other people.

This direction combines partnership, improvisation, attention, play, reflection and the ability to respond sensitively to a changing social field.

The format can be organised as a 6–8 week process, a workshop or an intensive weekend event. Dates, price and registration will be announced once the format is scheduled.

WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE

MOVI kūrybos ir komunikacijos praktika: partnerystė, lazda ir dėmesio klausymasis

Partnership and listening

  1. We will learn to move in relationship with another person: to observe, listen, offer an action and receive another person’s proposal. Partnership becomes a living process of shared learning rather than a performance technique.

Improvisation and creativity

  1. We will explore how new solutions, games and movement language emerge from simple movement situations. The practice values the ability to create here and now, rather than a predetermined result.

The social field

We will work with group tasks in which the body learns to sense atmosphere, rhythm, boundaries and other people’s actions. Movement becomes a way to understand more clearly how we participate in a shared field.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN AND GAIN?

  • A clearer sense of how the body communicates through movement, rhythm, distance, time and attention.

  • Greater confidence creating movement situations with a partner or group without relying only on a known answer.

  • A stronger ability to listen, respond, propose and adapt in relationship with others.

  • Improved improvisation, creativity, play and flexibility of movement language.

  • Awareness of personal habits around communication, control, following and taking initiative.

  • An experience of movement as a living practice of co-creation, communication and reflection.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This format is for people who want not only to move with better technique, but also to relate to others with greater sensitivity. It suits those interested in deepening creativity, improvisation, partnership, communication and the ability to act in a group. Experience helps, but openness to exploring how the body speaks, listens and creates together matters most.

WHY CREATIVITY & COMMUNICATION?

  • This direction reminds us that movement is not only a physical action, but also a living form of communication.

  • In practice we learn to create relationship through the body: to listen, respond, support and offer.

  • Creativity is understood not as a talent, but as the ability to act sensitively in uncertainty.

  • Partner and group tasks reveal how we communicate, when we tense, when we trust and how we can act more freely.

  • The format combines movement education, improvisation, reflection and co-creative practice.

PRACTICAL CREATIVITY & COMMUNICATION MAPS

1

Partnership dynamics: how we listen, lead, follow, support and respond to another person in movement.

2

Improvisation structures: simple rules that open creativity, play and new movement solutions.

3

Body language and signals: how gaze, distance, rhythm, pause and direction become part of communication.

4

The group field: shared tasks in which we learn to sense other people’s actions, space, time and atmosphere.

5

Reflection after practice: naming experience, sharing insights and learning from what happened in the body and the group.
