MOVI Team

The MOVI team is united by movement, body awareness and embodied learning. Each teacher brings a distinct background into a shared, attentive and supportive space where people can explore, learn and grow through movement.

Justas Kučinskas

Justas Kučinskas is a co-founder of MOVI, co-author of the MOVI practice, movement teacher and facilitator of embodied learning practices.

In his work, he explores the human being as a living, learning system that continually adapts to its environment. For Justas, movement is more than physical training or a sporting discipline. It is a way to understand oneself, develop perception, regulate one's state, deepen relationships with others and participate in life more consciously.

Over more than two decades, he has gained experience across very different fields: from professional dance, physical education and improvisation to academic studies in philosophy, somatic practices, communication, sensing the social field and group learning processes.

His key influences include the Ido Portal movement method, the work of Fighting Monkey creators Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea, Marcello Palozzo's practical perspective on movement in different environments, Philip Shepherd's somatic philosophy, Arawana Hayashi's Social Presencing Theater method, and the practices of the Presencing Institute and Art of Hosting communities.

These experiences gradually came together in the MOVI practice: a living and continuously evolving process of embodied learning in which movement becomes not only a form of physical development, but also a way to cultivate a more adaptive, sensitive and vital relationship with oneself, other people and the world.

Together with Jekaterina Kučinskienė, Justas competed for many years in the international WDC professional league. They became multiple European vice-champions and World Championship finalists in professional South American Showdance.

He currently teaches Embodied Leadership at ISM University, facilitates Social Presencing Theater practices, and develops embodied learning and movement education projects in Lithuania and abroad together with fellow practitioners.

Jekaterina Kučinskienė

Jekaterina Kučinskienė is a co-founder of MOVI, co-author of the MOVI practice and movement teacher whose work brings together high-level physical mastery, artistic sensitivity and a deeply human approach to learning through movement.

A lifelong professional performing artist, Jekaterina graduated from the prestigious Ballet College in Minsk and continued her studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. For many years she has been an artist with the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, creating numerous memorable roles, including Funny Esther in Emmanuel Legris's Paquita.

Alongside her stage career, she competed for many years with Justas Kučinskas in the international WDC professional league. They became multiple European vice-champions and World Championship finalists in professional South American Showdance.

Beyond classical ballet and the performing arts, Jekaterina has consistently explored contemporary dance, movement education, coordination, improvisation and embodied learning practices. Her key influences include the Ido Portal movement method, Fighting Monkey practice, and studies in contemporary movement and dance.

In the MOVI practice, Jekaterina combines athleticism, artistry, structure, sensitivity and a direct human connection. Her teaching is marked by attentiveness, precision and the ability to create a warm, vibrant and supportive learning atmosphere where people can rediscover trust in their bodies, the joy of movement and a more organic relationship with learning.

Over the years, Jekaterina has also organised international movement education events and made a significant contribution to the growth of movement culture and community in Lithuania.

Jekaterina is a mother of three, an experience that has further deepened her understanding of human growth through movement and everyday life.

Vytenis Žiedas

Vytenis Žiedas is an osteopath, movement practitioner and long-standing member of the MOVI community who has contributed to the development of the MOVI practice, courses and collaborative educational projects since its earliest years.

His work combines deep knowledge of the human body, osteopathic principles, movement education and hands-on work with people. Vytenis is interested not only in biomechanics and health, but also in the broader process of how people adapt, learn and live in relationship with their environment.

He is one of the founders of the Lithuanian Institute of Osteopathy and a long-time leader of the Lithuanian Osteopathic Association, actively contributing to the development of osteopathy and a more conscious physical culture in Lithuania.

Within the MOVI practice, Vytenis brings a clear understanding of anatomy, therapeutic work and the complexity of the human organism. This perspective connects naturally with movement, self-regulation and embodied learning practices.

Alongside his professional work, he has spent many years deepening his knowledge of movement education, Fighting Monkey practice, physical development and human adaptation. In practice, Vytenis is distinguished by his calm presence, sensitive attention to each person, and ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, practical and human way.

Jurga Kazlauskaitė

Jurga Kazlauskaitė is a movement teacher and long-standing MOVI practitioner who has participated in and helped shape the MOVI community since its earliest years.

Her work is guided by sensitivity, care for people and an ongoing search for authentic self-expression through movement and embodied practice. Jurga is also a strong and disciplined practitioner who knows the physical, emotional and human challenges of long-term practice, and carries these qualities into other areas of her life and creative work.

In MOVI practices, Jurga creates a warm, open and supportive learning atmosphere where people can explore safely, grow and rediscover trust in themselves, their bodies and the learning process itself.

Alongside her work with MOVI, Jurga leads her own practices, workshops and groups, continuing to explore movement as a path towards self-knowledge, connection and lived human experience.
